1) Women Make History While Promoting Their Products and Services!
Women from around the world will make history when they participate in the Virtual Woman's Day TM celebration taking place on Thursday, March 15th, 2007. This day-long celebration of women on-line is planned in recognition of Women's History Month, an excellent time to celebrate woman on-line and participate in networking opportunities, join new social networking sites and make new contacts around the globe.
During Virtual Woman's Day women will have a variety of opportunities to increase their own circle of influence via the WECAI NETWORK TM day-long celebration using our Web Conference Platform. Women will be able to promote their products and services, show off their websites and learn 'best practices' from women who have found great success on-line via the conference room as well as via the Virtual Woman's Day blog.
Four speakers are scheduled to join the celebration throughout the day to share their expertise on issues of interest to women, such as weight management, self-promotion, attracting corporate sponsorships, and creating strategic alliances.
Events leading up to Virtual Woman's Day, include a song-writing contest describing the virtues of Women On-line. In addition to recognizing winners of the song-writing contest, women will be able to submit a one-paragraph description of their products and services with a link to their website which will be added to the Virtual Woman's Day blog. During the event, prizes will be given away every 15 minutes and everyone who attends will receive a downloadable eBook with our compliments.
There is absolutely no charge to attend the Virtual Woman's Day Online Conference. Registration begins today at: http://www.virtualwomansday.com.

2) Web 2.0: A Beneficial Batch of Collaboration
Web 2.0, noted as the “People oriented technological movement” combines blogs, wikis, video, podcasts, syndication and social networking to provide better organization and efficiency within the world of your business and its employees. While none of these applications are necessarily new, Web 2.0 has begun to use them in innovative and exciting new ways.
Jonathan Robinson, chief operating officer of NetBenefit, describes the program as, “a powerful communication tool that can create an operational environment where stakeholders, staff, suppliers and the public are really made to feel part of what’s going on.”

4) Secrets to Breaking the Million-Dollar Ceiling: A Panel Discussion with Women President’s Organization Members
The Center for Women's Business Research reports that 10.4 million women-owned firms -- one out of every 11 in the country -- employ more than 12.8 million people, and generate an impressive volume of $1.9 trillion in sales. In stark contrast to these figures, less than 5 percent of women business owners have annual revenues over the million-dollar threshold. Fortunately, over a 100,000 women business owners who own multimillion-dollar companies have shown, the challenge of breaking the million-dollar ceiling is possible. As more women desire to turn their small companies into larger corporations, they actively seek resources and mentoring outlets, like the Women President’s Organization. Such organizations provide resources for women to succeed and position their companies for growth. Register for the 10th Annual Seton Hill University E-Magnify "Building a World-Class Business" Conference and join this panel discussion as four successful women share their real-world experiences and secrets to turning ‘a nice little business’ into a flourishing multimillion-dollar enterprise:

5) Touch Point Networking (Part One)
Effective networking is about building relationships. The people that are most likely to refer you over and over again are people who know you, like you and trust you. This means that you must build the relationship, gain trust and then maintain and further develop it over time.
Touch Point Networking is making a concerted effort to develop long lasting, strong, profitable business relationships over time. Consequently, “touch points” are very important in the networking process. Touch points are the occasions in which you “touch” one of your clients, potential clients and/or referral partners. Touch points are simply a communication mechanism and often an opportunity to give to the relationship.
